When in 1979 I set up my own business, the triumphal advance of mobile weighing technology that occurred later could not have been anticipated.

Yet the beginnings go back to a time in which I worked as the manager of a company in the iron and steel working industry. Here we developed overload safeguards for cranes and tested out the market. After that we were able to also successfully sell electronic solutions for weighing units for stackers in the new business field.

At that time, the main emphasis of the application was occupational safety. The idea of using the new technology for optimising economy and efficiency had not yet been born.
